This unit introduces network operating systems, with a focus on building enterprise networks with Windows operating systems, Windows 2008 in particular. This unit also covers the main features of the Unix operating system relevant to networking and how to use Unix-type operating systems including Linux and Mac OS X Server to implement computer networks. This unit is based on Appendix D of the TD textbook.
